Family of 9 coming in mid-October - will soon be making dining reservations. Would like to dine in the park that has parade, fireworks, illuminations, etc. - or in park w/extended night time hours, but can't find a list/schedule showing that for October.

Hi, Cathy! I know it's frustrating when your trying to make plans and can't find the information you need, but the Walt Disney World website only publishes the calendar about six months in advance. For example, the September calendar came out March 1st.  Look for October around April 1st. Hopefully, that will give you a few days to puzzle out your itinerary.  To use the website for your planning, go to and select the theme park you want to check from the menu at the top of the page. On the new page, select Calendar from the menu on the left. From the drop-down menu, choose the month you need to view, like October for you. When the calendar appears, the daily park hours and any Extra Magic hours will be listed. To view the parade and nighttime event schedule, simply click on the numeral of the date you are interested in attending. Repeat for each of the parks. All of the magic is at your fingertips. Happy planning!
