Mom And Son On Run

My family and I are coming to Disney for the 1st time..and we're all so excited. My boys will be 12, 11 and 9 when we arrive in September. I'm trying to plan as much as I can but I'm afraid I'll miss something that boys their age would love. Suggestions?

    Hi Lisa,

Your sons are nearly the same ages as mine, so I'll share with you a sampling of their favorite things to do (beyond the rides/attractions):

-Water parks:  Blizzard Bleach and Typhoon Lagoon
    -Frontierland Shootin' Arcade
-Finding the paintbrush on Tom Sawyer's Island (the first guests that arrive there can search for several brushes to earn free fast passes to Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain)
-Grand Floridian Pirate Cruise (for the younger ones)
-Searching for Hidden Mickeys (see www.hiddenmickeys.org)

My boys also need time to run, and they can't wait to visit the Boneyard at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience playground at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Tom Sawyer's Island at the Magic Kingdom to have a chance to play.

I hope this helps your sons to have an even-more-magical trip!
