My family and I have a breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant in MK at 8:30 am. The park opens at 9. When should we arrive at MK in order to make our reservation? Will the busses from the resort (Port Orleans) run to MK that early? Thank yo

Hey, Gina! I am so glad you were able to reserve your breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant this morning. The menu looks fantastic and I cannot wait to try the open-faced bacon and egg sandwich. No need to ask the dishes; I am sure it will be delicious!

While the Disney transportation buses do not begin regular transportation from the Resort hotels until one hour before park opening, there are buses that pick up Resort Guests with an early morning breakfasts scheduled. I have seen these buses run as early as 6:30 a.m. From Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, I would be at the closest bus stop to await the Magic Kingdom bus around 7:00 a.m., but no later than 7:30 a.m., to get to your reservation on time. When you arrive at the park, you will find a Mickey touch point at the far left to enter, designated for those with early breakfast reservations inside the park. You will need to have your Advance Dining Reservation confirmation number handy when you enter.

As you are walking to your breakfast in New Fantasyland, try to make a quick stop on Main Street, USA, or in front of Cinderella Castle to have one of the PhotoPass photographers capture a picture of your family. This is the best time of day to get this picture, as the crowds have not yet entered the park. We use one of these pictures as our holiday cards every year.

I hope you have a fantastic start to your day in Magic Kingdom. Stop by if you have any other questions for us!
