Our family has booked a vacation in June at the AS Movie Resort. Our 2 yr old daughter is a Toy Story fanatic so we were wondering if there is a way to request a room in the Toy Story section of this resort.

    Debra:

By all means, call up Disney today and make a note on your reservation that you'd like to stay in the Toy Story section!  Doesn't cost a thing. (And then call about a week to 10 days before check-in to confirm your request.)  If you don't ask, Disney won't be able to read your mind, and I've found that it's difficult to move rooms once you're at check in...

Disney doesn't guarantee requests, but does take into consideration your requests when assigning rooms.  HINT: If you aren't given a Toy Story room at check-in, ask again. If it doesn't work out, all you have to do to satisfy your daughter is to walk over to the area and get her picture taken with Buzz, etc. and she'll be in heaven!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
