Our family has booked a cruise on the Disney Fantasy for Nov 2017 but only late dining is available. I have been put on a cancellation list for early dining. Is this request typically accommodated?

    Welcome aboard, Andrea!
Since you're on the waiting list for the Main Dining seating, you'll be notified if a spot becomes available. While Disney does their best to accommodate guests' requests, it's based on how many guests are in that dining rotation. On the cover of your first Personal Navigator day one, it will list the location where Dining Managers will be to speak with guests about dining changes. You may pop in to ask if there is a way to change your seating then. But, if you do have Late Dining throughout your cruise, there are lots of perks!

My family and I love the Late Dining time. After a full day exploring and participating in all sorts of magical activities, we love that the kids (and us parents too, who are we kidding?) can enjoy a quick nap before all the evening fun begins. We'll rest, then get ready for the evening, catch the first of the nightly Broadway-style shows, do a bit of shopping, and then head to dinner. Sometimes we're craving a snack, so we pop by the Quick Service spots on the pool deck and have some tasty treats while we lounge on deck chair watching a Disney movie on the huge FunnelVision screen. Other times, we'll order a quick bite from the Complimentary Room Service Menu and take turns showering while the others snack and enjoy the views on the verandah or the kids snuggle up to watch a movie on our stateroom T.V.

Plus, during Late Dining only, they offer Dine n' Play. Kids are served first and then an hour into the seating, counselors from the Youth Clubs come to get kids who'd like to go play, while their parents get to enjoy the rest of their dinner alone. It's the best of both worlds: family time and then parents enjoy a quiet end of the meal while the kids go play!

    Have a great cruise, Andrea!
