My family is going back to Disney in October. My daughter (11) and I went last year but this time my husband and son (13) are coming with us. I need help in prioritizing two full days of Disney. Suggestions on parks/attractions/fast passes?

    Hi, Renee!
Thanks for reaching out to me! I'm thrilled you have a change to bring the full family to Walt Disney World Resort!

With two full days, you have two ways to look at the trip: As a way to deeply experience two parks or as a chance to enjoy two parks a day. Personally, I'd pick the more affordable route and visit one park each day. To make the decision on the parks, I'd chat with your kids and see if they want fast rides, Star Wars-themed experiences and any other Disney themes that they enjoy. That can help you pick the parks that they will enjoy the most.

My ten (almost eleven) and 14-year-old kids would say they want to visit Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios in those two days. Magic Kingdom is the most classic Disney experience and even though their favorite roller coaster is in Animal Kingdom Theme Park, they tell me they would never skip a trip to Magic Kingdom. I think it's the combination of fast attractions (Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain - which is under construction while you're in town, Splash Mountain and the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train) and the classic Disney experiences that come with Cinderella Castle and Dole Whips. I highly recommend snagging a FastPass+ to Toy Story Mania! in Disney's Holywood Studios if you pick that park. It's our family's favorite competitive silly fun at Disney World.

If you are staying at a Disney World Resort Hotel, you can book your FastPass+ reservations now. If you're staying off property, you can start booking 30 days before your first day in the parks.

I hope that helps you kick off your two-day plans. Feel free to pop back here and ask me more planning questions. I love helping!
