    Katherine from NC Asked

My family and I will be attending Disney World for our first time. We were wondering are their any Star Wars events/shows to attend for our 10yr old son that don't require reservations?

Welcome Katherine, I've been expecting you.

A youngling you will be bringing to Walt Disney World Resort. I sense the Force is strong in this one.

Star Wars Awakens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And there are many opportunities to experience the saga. Get inside the movies at Star Wars Launch Bay, and meet some of your favorite Star Wars villains and heroes, like Chewbacca and Kylo Ren. Take a jump into hyperspace with Star Tours - The Adventure Continues, a 3D motion-simulated experience. And for an evening grand finale, experience Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular, a fireworks display accompanied by awesome Star Wars themes.

Your Padawan cannot miss Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple. Future Jedi Knights will train in the ways of the Force, learn to use a lightsaber and test their skills against Darth Vader and the Seventh Sister Inquisitor. Offered several times daily, it does require registration. Do so as soon as you arrive to the park, early in the day.

Many attractions feature FastPass+, a free service that allows you to experience your favorite rides with little or no wait. Also, make sure you sign up for My Disney Experience, where you’ll be able to select FastPass+ up to 30 days in advance, and keep track of all your tickets, and dining and resort reservations.

Safe travels, and may the Force be with you.

    Ricardo.
