my family is arriving on march 4 2011 at 3:55 pm at mco. we have a dinner resrvation at Coral Reef for 6:10 pm . is this enough time to make dinner with check in ?

    Hi Ellis:

Coral Reef restaurant is a family favorite for us. We enjoy the delicious seafood and breathtaking underwater views. While it may be technically possible to land at Orlando International Airport at 3:55 and make it to a 6:10 Coral Reef reservation after taking Magical Express, I believe you may be cutting it too close. There are a number of factors beyond your control that you need to account into your time budget. First, your airplane will have to land and deplane on time. Then you will have to get to the Magical Express section of the airport. Second, it's always hard to predict how long the lines at Magical Express will be at the time of your arrival. Third, Magical Express tends to stop at a few different Resorts. Your commuting time will be affected depending on whether your Resort is one of the first stops or one of the last stops on the route. Fourth, while check-in generally does not take too long, you never can guarantee how long the lines will be at check-in. Fifth, depending where your Resort is, you will have to factor in commuting time to Epcot and Coral Reef. If driving or taking a bus to the park, transportation can depend on various factors, such as traffic.

I would consider making a later reservation to put your mind at ease. You'll be on vacation and will likely want to relax and not worry about making your first dining reservation.
