If my family will be arriving at a Disney Resort on July 29th 2018, what exact date will I be able to make dining reservations and what exact date will I be able to make fast pass reservations?

    Hi Raymond,

Mark your calendar! The date to make your Advanced Dining Reservations is just a few short days away. If you are arriving on July 29, 2018, you can begin booking your favorite restaurants on January 30th. The quickest way to book a reservation is online beginning at 6:00 AM. The good news is that you are in the same time zone as Mickey. By booking online, you get an hour jump start on people who start calling to make their reservations when the phone lines open at 7:00 AM.

If haven't done so yet, you'll want to set up your My Disney Experience account before your 180-day booking window. Be sure to enter your credit card information which will be needed to guarantee reservations. You'll need to link your resort reservation in order be granted 180-day access. Use your confirmation number to do this tomorrow if you haven't done so yet. Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the site so that you will be able to start grabbing the hard to book restaurants as soon as the clock strikes 6:00 AM.

As far as your FastPass+ selections, you can book those beginning on May 30th, 2018. A tip for you: Plan to book Avatar Flight of Passage first. Even at 60-days out, that attraction is usually all booked. So, plan to visit Animal Kingdom Park several days into your vacation. This way, you are really booking 64 or 65 days ahead of when you would be at that park (depending on how long your vacation is). You should, in theory, be able to grab  FastPass+ for this ride if you use this strategy.

Wishing you magical memories and much success in booking reservations.
