My family, 3 adults 2 teens, will be staying at AofA Aug 30-Spt 5. We are looking for a quieter spot to view Fireworks. I've been given different opinions from friends, even the possibility of viewing them from certain resorts. Any suggestions?

Hi, Jodie!  We've always gone to either the beach at the Polynesian Resort or to the observation deck at the Contemporary Resort to see the fireworks.  Once you've left the theme park, it's nice to have the option to view Wishes from the Magic Kingdom in a less chaotic area, and we've always found the crowds at both of those locations to be more than manageable.  Except on holidays, the beach at the Polynesian has usually been pretty quiet, and the view is magnificent.

Another spot you can see the fireworks is from out at the marina at the Grand Floridian.  We don't usually go there, because I think the view from the Polynesian can't be beaten, but you don't usually find many people at the Grand Floridian.

You can access any of these resorts from the monorail or using Walt Disney World transportation.  If you have your own car, you can get a temporary parking pass for these resorts.  They usually allow a couple of hours for shopping, dining, or even fireworks viewing.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
