Can a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 kids ages 6, 5, 2, and 5 months stay in a standard room at the Grand Californian?

    Hi there, Katherine!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited for you and your family to make magical memories at the Happiest Place on Earth!

I'd love to give you more information about my favorite Disneyland Resort Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This hotel features stunning architectural and artistic details with Craftsman-style elegance. I love sitting near the large fireplace in the lobby while listening to the piano player. It's such a great place to relax while still being so close to the parks. I also love this hotel's private entrance to Disney California Adventure Park making trips to and from your room throughout the day SUCH a breeze. With kids this is priceless when you need to change clothes or take a quick rest or swim break. One of my favorite hidden gems of this hotel is White Water Snacks, a Quick Service dining option. I love their creative dishes in a casual, family-friendly atmosphere.

Standard rooms at this hotel sleep five Guests including any infants. This would mean for your family, you would need to book one of the 1-Bedroom Suites which are made for larger families up to six Guests. These feature 1 king bed and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa or 2 queen beds and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa. The bedroom is also separated in these rooms giving more privacy if necessary. What I love about these suites is the ability to upgrade your reservation to Club Level. This gives you unlimited access to The Veranda which serves complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. I can't wait for you to Get Your Ears on at the Disneyland Resort!
