My family (4 adults and 2 kids ages 4 and 7) cannot decide between rooms at the Contemporary Garden Wing or the Beach Club. Can somebody please help us figure this out? Our 2 favorite resorts are Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Thanks!

    Hi Amanda,

You simply cannot go wrong with either option. Both of the Disney Resort hotels you mentioned are absolutely FABULOUS! They each provide their own unique charm and easy access to Disney Theme Parks via the Walt Disney World® Water Transportation.

Disney's Beach Club Resort offers excellent service, an incredible pool complex and is within easy walking distance to Epcot and Disney's BoardWalk. You can also opt for a leisurely stroll via the walking path to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Depending on your pace it can take about 30 minutes.

Disney's Contemporary Resort boasts some of the largest standard rooms. One of the major advantages of staying at this Disney Resort hotel is that it's within easy walking distance to Magic Kingdom Park. You'll have convenient access to Monorail transportation too. Since you are traveling with young children, I suspect that you'll be spending a great deal of time at Magic Kingdom Park. Therefore, I would opt for Disney's Contemporary Resort.

All the above being said, please be aware that standard rooms at Disney's Contemporary Resort can only accommodate up to 5 Adults, plus a child under 3 years of age. That is, unless you are referring to the Garden Wing - Hospitality Suite Access which sleeps up to 7 Adults. Similarly, most rooms at Disney's Beach Club Resort will accommodate up to 5 Adults, plus a child 3 years of age or younger; the exception being the 2 Bedroom Suite - Club Level Access which sleeps up to 7 Adults.

I hope this information will help you reach a decision, Amanda. Please visit us again soon with more Disney vacation planning questions.
