    Our family(2 adults and 3 children ages 12,8,and 6) is staying at the Yacht Club May 20-25. My husband is having problems with his knees standing for long periods of time. Is there anything he can do to get at the start of the line? Who should we see?

    Hi Diane ~

    Disney does a great job of assisting Guests who have limited mobility. ​If your husband is unable to wait in a regular queue, he can request a Disability Access Service Card (DAS) by going to Guest Relations at any of the theme parks. Cast Member (CM)s will ask him some questions so they can best accommodate his specific needs. They'll take his photo for the DAS, go over the terms and conditions and have him sign the card.

    It may also help your husband if you rent a wheelchair for him. While he may feel fine first thing in the morning, the parks are huge and it may give him some relief to help him make it through the day more comfortably. Here is some additional information on wheelchair rentals in the parks. In case you decide to rent a wheelchair, here is some information regarding attractions for Guests with Mobility Disabilities including those that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs or ECVs, those that require Guests in ECVs to transfer to wheelchairs to board and those that require Guests to be mobile to enjoy.
