My family and I (7 adults) 1 child (2yo) will be in Magic Kingdom on 1/26/19 for one day shore excursion from a cruise. We have approximately 9 hours to spend on the park. My main concern is if we will have enough time. Thanks

    Hi Betty,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like your vacation will include the best of both worlds with a cruise and time at Walt Disney World Resort. I can understand why you would be concerned about having enough time at Magic Kingdom Park. I have a six-day vacation coming up and I'm wondering the very same thing! There is so much to do at Magic Kingdom Park that it's almost impossible to do it all in one trip.

While you may not be able to experience it all, you can have an abundance of fun at Magic Kingdom Park in nine hours. My best advice is to try to decide what the must-do attractions are for your group. I would make FastPass+ selections as soon as you're allowed (60 days in advance with a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or otherwise 30 days in advance) in order to have a time scheduled for popular attractions. Then you can fill in other activities. If you are there in the afternoon, the Festival of Fantasy Parade is spectacular.

If you are looking for a truly magical addition to your visit, you might consider a VIP Tour for part of your day. VIP Tour Services offer ready-made itineraries including the Ultimate Disney Classics VIP Tour which covers the classic attractions at Magic Kingdom Park.  If none of the itineraries work for you, you can consult with your VIP Tour Guide to make a plan. This is definitely a splurge, but might be worth it if you have limited time to enjoy the park.

Wishing you a magical, fun-filled day at Magic Kingdom Park!
