    Nichola Asked

We’re 3 families visiting WDW together and have 3 separate Dining Plans. I’m going to make a single reservation for us all at Hoop-Dee-Doo. Will we be able to pay using our separate DDPs when we’re at HDD, or will all credits be deducted from my DDP?

Hi, Nichola! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How awesome it is to hear you have started to plan your vacation! Yay!

Do not worry about being charged everyone's entitlements! Just be sure to mention the server as soon as you are seated that your large party is composed of three families, and each is on the Disney Dining Plan. Therefore, three separate checks will be needed. Your server will then scan your MagicBand and redeem as many credits as you have used at that location. The same procedure will be followed with the rest of the party. Servers are very experienced at doing all of this so do not worry, you are in good hands!

If you want to be 100% sure that the right number of entitlements were deducted from your credit pool, you can always check the bottom of your voucher at every transaction. You could also stop by Concierge at your hotel lobby and ask for a detailed balance to be printed and given to you. The My Disney Experience app should also reflect the number of entitlements remaining.

Nichola, I hope these thoughts are helpful! I wish you and your family a memorable trip together!

    Happy Disney Dining,
    ~Desiree

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
