    Helen from Non-US Resident Asked

hi - we are 2 families with separate bookings but want to link these so we can book fast passes together does anyone know how I do this- can I do it on here by adding guests or is there something i need to do?

    Hi Helen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this question to us. How exciting to plan a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with another family!

It sounds like you already have a My Disney Experience Account. If so, then just click on the "My Family and Friends List," then scroll down to "Add a Guest." Once you click to add a guest, you will see a few options. I suggest that you import from a Walt Disney World resort hotel reservation. You will need the other family's resort hotel confirmation number and last name on the reservation.

Once your accounts are linked, one person can manage plans for both families. When we traveled with my cousin's family a few years ago, I connected our accounts through My Disney Experience and made Dining Reservations as well as Fast Pass+ selections for everyone. Although I did consult with them and we had a meeting to discuss plans prior to the trip, everyone seemed quite happy to let one person make the plans!

Remember that, for trips in 2017, if you make your dining reservations together, parties of six or more automatically have to pay an 18% gratuity. We decided that we wanted to eat together, so we paid the gratuity, but it is something to consider. Also, if you purchase one Memory Maker, both families can share the photos. We purchased Memory Maker in advance of that trip with my cousin's family and just split the cost between our two families.

Helen, I hope you are able to link those accounts. It will make planning so much easier!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
