    Hilary from MI Asked

This is my families first trip to Disney we are going June 6-12, and we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Our children are 10 (girl) and 7 (boy), just wondering now that I have booked it where do I go from here. I am feeling a bit overwelmed.

    Hilary,

Don't feel even a BIT overwhelmed! This is the fun part of the trip - the planning!

Here are some first planning steps

    • Dining Plan
    • What Park/What Day
    • What Meals

The Disney Dining Plans are a great way to save money. Select a plan that suits you, or forego the plans altogether. View plan information at this page.

Park Days. Plan where you will go each day. That will help you know that you have enough time dedicated to each of the four parks, and will help you with planning your meals.

Meals. You will want to plan out any table service dining that you want to enjoy. 180 days out from your first day at Walt Disney World you can call and make reservations for all your meals. You will want to do so, to ensure you get in to all the ones you want to enjoy.

Need more help? Write me back directly with questions on each. Let me know about what you want to do, foods you like/dislike, what days you plan to visit parks, etc., and I can help you fill in the blanks!

    I am here to help!

    Have a magical vacation!
