This will be my families first time going to Disney World - Ive been there when I was little - and Im wondering what the difference between one day tickets and park hopper tickets? What are better? Also, what is a FastPass+?

    Hi, Jessica!

I'm so glad you stopped by as you begin to plan your family's magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! There's a lot to consider as you start to make your arrangements especially when it comes to your theme park tickets. A 1-day ticket or multi-day tickets will allow you entry into one theme park per day. If you are interested in spending all your time touring one park each day of your stay, this is a great option for your family. This type of ticket does allow you to leave and return to the same park if you want to take a mid-day break. A park hopper ticket grants you admission to any of the four theme parks on the same day. For example, you can visit Magic Kingdom in the morning and hop over to Disney's Animal Kingdom to explore the all-new Pandora-The World of Avatar at night. When making your decision, I do think it's important to consider your budget as the park hopper tickets do cost more since you have access to all four parks each day of your visit.

FastPass+ is a wonderful service included in your theme park admission, Jessica! It allows you to reserve three experiences per day prior to your arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort. These experiences include select attractions, entertainment offerings and meet-n-greets with some of your favorite Disney Pals! If you choose to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you'll be able to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to your arrival while Guests staying off-site will have an opportunity to book 30 days early. Once you've experienced your initial three FastPass+ selections at a single park, you'll be able to check availability for more, but only one additional FastPass+ can be reserved at a time.

I hope this helps, Jessica! I suggest creating a My Disney Experience account to get the ball rolling. If you have any more questions, please let us know.
