My famiily is visiting DW in Dec. 2010. I have purchased Very Merry Christmas Party tickets. I know we have to pay for park admission, however, we are only visiting WD for 2 days. Do we have to visit the park the same day as the party? Thanks!

    Hi Tabatha,

You and your family are going to love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP)!  It is such an incredibly fun event filled with special holiday experiences!

MVMCP requires a separate special event ticket to attend. On the evenings that it is held, the park closes early and only those Guests with the special event tickets are allowed to enter or remain in the park when the party begins at 7 p.m.

You will not be required to spend the day in the Magic Kingdom prior to MVMCP that evening.  You are welcome to spend the day in another park and then come to the Magic Kingdom for MVMCP.

Wishing you many magical holiday memories :-) Allison
