Fam of 4, w/ 2 & 5yr boys. We want to attempt the park for 1 day, possibly 2 if we can stretch $. Bit overwhelmed, tips on must see or do on cheap? Dare we skip 2yr old nap? Tips to keep it stress free?

Hello, Staci! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for bringing us your question.

I’m so glad to hear you are planning a vacation with your family to the Walt Disney World Resort. You will find that with a bit of planning and creativity, you’ll be able to have a dream vacation, even on a budget. As a fellow budget-conscious momma I know I like to make sure I get the most “bang for my buck” as possible. And this can be done!

Here are some tips that have helped me have fun at the place where the magic is endless, without breaking the bank:

    1. Check for special offers - Visit the website often to see what seasonal offers you can take advantage of!

    2. Pack a lunch - Bringing your own lunch and snacks is a great way to save money and time when you’re visiting the parks.

    3. Get a Magic Your Way Package - Magic Your Way packages are fully customizable to fit your need and budget. With all the added benefits of staying on property, you will definitely get the most bang for your buck here!

As far as skipping naps, my littles would always end up catching a quick snooze on their stroller while we walked around or took a break. If you think they will be ok, I say ride it out. Stay in the parks and enjoy the most of your time there. Find a quiet shaded spot and enjoy the sights. They truly are breathtaking! But if you think they need the break, schedule it in. You’ll be glad to come back refreshed and enjoy a stress-free evening.

I hope this helped answer your questions. Do come back and see us again soon!
