Hi, Faith I want to run my first race next year and im a Disney FAN:). what do you recommended? im planning on going with my husband and for the first time in 3 years going to Disney without my daughters lol. I just don't know what one to try.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Veronica!

I am so excited to hear you want to take your love for all things Disney Parks to the next level by participating in a runDisney race event! It doesn't get any more magical than runDisney.

My suggestion for your first race event is the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney World® Resort, or the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend at the Disneyland® Resort. What better way to commemorate your first race experience than to run along with your peers and fellow princesses. With a majority of race participants being female, the environment is less intimidating and, of course, much more enchanting.

With a 5k, 10k and half marathon distance available during these royal weekends, you're sure to find the perfect race to bring out your inner princess. And with free, race-specific training plans available by the official runDisney Training Consultant, Jeff Galloway, you will be sure to finish your race in fairytale fashion.

I hope this information gives you a good starting point for your first runDisney event, Veronica. Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have as you plan and prepare to run Disney!

    Happy Training!
