Hi Faith! Yay, I got in to the Princess Half!! Reserved Race Retreat and Platinum ChEAR for my husband spectator. He's a Disney newbie; any recs on good restaurants to ease him in? Should we visit a park on Saturday or no? Pasta party (Fri) worth it? Thx!!

    Way to go, Emily!

You've completed the first step in participating in the 2016 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, The Race to Registration :)

First, let's talk Pasta in the Park Party. I highly recommend this event! It's one of my favorite ways to add a little extra magic to my race weekend and really create an experience. I also think it's a great value for what you get for the price! With a DJ spinning fun music, a pasta buffet that is sure to please your husband too, and reserved viewing for Epcot's nighttime spectacular, IllimiNations: Reflections of Earth, he's sure to get a first-time Disney experience like no other. Plus, you can get your photo with the Princesses while he is eating.

Here are a few other dining suggestions to help ease him into the Disney-life.

Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room - located in the United Kingdom Pavillon of Epcot's World Showcase, he's sure to enjoy the old English Pub-style atmosphere.

Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom - two words: Thanksgiving Dinner! What man could resist that?!

Splitsville in Downtown Disney - This is the ultimate "man cave" with all sorts of draft beers, live music and you can even eat while you bowl! Showing him this adult side of Disney is sure to help him see Walt Disney World® Resort is not just for kids.

I hope you like these ideas, Emily! I would love to help you even more - please let me know if you need any additional suggestions, or if you have any further questions.
