When will the extra hours calendar be available for 5/30-6/6? We will be bringing a 4 (turning 5 while there) and 9 year old. This is our first trip and trying to see what we need to focus on first.

Hi Amy!  Disney at this time is only displaying park hours 90 days out.  Things do change so please keep checking the website,, for updates.

In the meantime start your planning by going through one park at a time and deciding on what attractions are those that you will want to see and experience.  Remember there is a rider swap option if your youngest does not want to ride and the rest of the family does. This can be explained here.  There is also a great video on the mom's panel site so be sure and check that out as well.  Pick several park restaurants that sound  perfect for your family and have back-ups ready.

Also, decide what kind of dining outside the parks you will want to experience.   A character meal is a suggestion for breakfast or dinner and my favorites are Donald's Safari Breakfast in the Animal Kingdom Park and Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort.  However, all are wonderful!  If you have a little princess in your family then be sure to consider the special dining for that experience. (Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom and Akershus royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT)

Check out the opportunities in Downtown Disney as well as the recreation options on property.  Make a list of the things that interest you as a family.  When the calendar is published it will be easy for you to start plugging in the days for the parks and everything else you thought would be fun.   Dining reservations can be made 90 days out from when your vacation starts and can be made for up to 10 days of your stay. The number to call is: 407-939-3463

Enjoy the process and please feel free to ask for more help along the way!
