My extended family of 19 will be going on the December 28 Magic 7 night Western. How can I find out which nights are formal, semi-formal and pirate night? We will be sailing on New Year's Eve and are wondering if any of those nights are on NYE!

Welcome aboard, Rebecca! What a great way to kick off the New Year with your family! Sailing with Disney Cruise Line is always a magical experience, but celebrating holidays at sea makes it all the more memorable!

The attire rotations for New Year's Eve sailings aren't quite ready yet, so I can't give you specifics on your particular sailing just yet. However, since you are on a seven night sailing, you can expect to have a Formal Night and a Semi-Formal Night, along with five cruise casual nights (one of those being the popular Pirate Night). I can tell you that last year, Disney Cruise Line arranged to have Formal or Semi-Formal Night fall on New Year's Eve so that guests could be dressed festively to ring in the New Year. I expect that'll be the case again this year, but feel free to check back in later this year when more specifics might be ready.

Have fun planning, Rebecca! I'm happy to help if you have other questions!
