    Hi Allison,

Although there are some table service restaurants that you can get into without reservations during certain times of the year, you will have a much more enjoyable vacation if you've planned ahead.  Make the reservations -- I know you want to be spontaneous, but spontaneity is not fun if you have hungry, tired children who need to be fed, but you can't find a place to eat.

Reservations can be made 180 days in advance, and I recommend doing that.  I know, it sounds crazy -- who makes dinner plans 6 months early?  Well, I can tell you that if you miss that window getting into the hugely popular spots, especially at a prime dinner time (5-6 PM) can be almost impossible.  So don't wait, make the reservations.  You can always cancel them at a later date if you need to.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
