Can you explain how in room dining works with the dining plans? Is there a way to see in room dining menus? We are staying at the Bay Lake Towers in January.

Hi Anne! Doesn't ordering room service feel like the ultimate luxury when you're on vacation? I love it! You can use your Disney Dining Plan for in-room dining -- each meal will cost two table-service credits and includes an entree, a dessert (at lunch and dinner) and a nonalcoholic beverage. Your two table-service credits also cover the gratuity. When you order your meal, just tell the castmember you're on the Dining Plan and want to pay with your credits. For more details check out the 2012 Disney Dining Plan brochure.

While the Disney website does not have the in-room dining menus posted, you can find them on unofficial sites like www.allears.net. (On that site, just click Dining in the Walt Disney World section and then click Menus and look under Contemporary to see the menu for room service at Bay Lake Tower. There are lots of yummy options!)

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
