Can you explain the Rider Switch option? All 4 stand in line and parent 1 rides with older child and parent 2 stays with baby. When you switch parents does the older child get to ride again with parent 2? Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebecca. Thanks for stopping by with your question and I hope you're having a magical week.

Rider Switch is a great feature allowing family members to go on an attraction, while an adult cares for the non-rider(s). When the first adult is done riding, the second adult presents the Rider Switch Pass and goes on the ride, greatly reducing wait times. The Rider Switch option is available on attractions that have minimum height requirement

The Rider Switch Pass allows the second adult to bring up to 2 other Guests with him or her. Your older child will get to experience the attraction with the second parent if desired.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Rebecca. As always, if you have further questions with planning your upcoming magical trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, please visit us on the Panel again.

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
