can you explain fast passes to me? are they the same for each park?

Hello Amber, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

FastPass+ is a service that allows you to save time waiting in line for some of your favorite or popular rides, attractions, shows, and character experiences. There are a limited number of FastPass+ available for each attraction for a particular time of day. Guests with a FastPass+ reservation can skip the Standby or regular line, and enter the FastPass+ return line at their designated time for the ride or attraction they have selected. Any guest to a Walt Disney World Theme Park, with a valid admission, can make up to three FastPass+ selections per day for the theme park of their choice. This service is complimentary.

Any guest with a prepaid theme park admission can log on to My Disney Experience online or in the app and make their selections 30 days before their arrival. Guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel with a prepaid theme park admission can make their selections 60 days in advance, starting at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time. You will have a one-hour time frame in which to redeem your FastPass+ at your selected attraction. When you arrive, you will tap your MagicBand or Admission Card on the touch point to redeem your FastPass+. Each theme park has select attractions that offer FastPass+, but some of the more popular attractions at Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom have a tiered system. Basically, this means that you cannot select more than one attraction in the first tier and the remaining attractions must come from the second tier. For example, at this time you cannot get a FastPass+ reservation for both Avatar - Flight of Passage and the Na’vi River Journey on the same day.

    See ya real soon,
