Can you explain the DDP? If we do 1 table, 1 Quick service, 1 snack. Where can we use these, what is a snack, and what is a quick service. Where can I find a list of participating places, and lastly can we use more than 1 snack option per day. Thanks!

Hi, Barbara!   Before I used the Disney Dining Plan, I thought it was going to be very confusing!  But it is actually very easy to use.

A SNACK is just what it sounds like:   a small box  of popcorn, a soda, bottle of water, piece of fruit, the list goes on and on!  Menus will be marked if something qualifies as a snack.

A QUICK SERVICE is a counter service meal (think fast food.)   You go to the counter to order your meal.  A quick service meal includes an entree or combo meal, beverage, and a dessert.   Two of my favorite Quick Service locations are Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney and Cosmic Rays in the Magic Kingdom.

If you participate in the Disney Dining Plan, each member of your party will receive one snack, one table service credit, and one quick service credit for each night of your reservation.   You can use these anytime during your vacation, so you can use more than one of your snack credits in a day.

For more information, click HERE for a PDF of the Disney Dining Plan.  This 6 page document is so helpful.  It lists participating restaurants, how the plan works, and so much more.  I suggest printing it out and keeping it with you as a reference guide.  After reading about the Dining Plan, let me know if you have any more questions!
