How expensive are cab rides between Downtown Disney and value resorts such as pop century? I heard the wait for Disney transp. can be long.

Hi, Erin! Depending on the traffic, it takes about 10 minutes to get to Pop Century from Downtown Disney/West Side. The free internal transportation system at WDW is reliable and convenient with a bus coming about every 20 minutes for each resort to the DTD area. However, sometimes our family has taken a taxi if we're running late for a dining reservation or are exhausted and can't wait another minute or walk another step. The last time we were at WDW, we paid about $15 (+ tip) for a 10-minute cab ride. Of course, I don't remember how light/heavy the traffic was and if the distance was the same as yours, but at least, that will give you an idea of what to expect. I hope this helps you make your plans. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
