Are there exclusions when using the disability access pass? I've done Fast Pass selections & missed out on a few things but hoping to avoid too much wait time as my 6 yr old w/autism has an extremely hard time with lines

    Hi Sarah,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Although I would not say there are exclusions when using the Disability Access Service, I will say that there are a few parameters to consider. First, you will need to head directly to Guest Relations when you enter your first theme park. From there, speak with a cast member to request the Disability Access Service. The cast member will consult with you to determine the accommodations that will best meet your child's needs. In addition, the cast member will confirm the number of additional guests that can ride with your child and will scan the MagicBands of those guests to link the Disability Access Service. When my husband has used the Disability Access Service, the girls and I have been able to ride with him.

When using the service, anyone in the party can approach a cast member at the entrance to an attraction, explain that someone in your party has the Disability Access Service and then request a return time. When returning, the person with the Disability Access Service needs to scan in for the ride first. We have been able to use the Disability Access Service with our Fast Pass+ selections, but could only get one return time at a time. The process worked a little different during Extra Magic Hours, but we were still able to use the service.

Sarah, also be sure to review the list of Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities and the Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
