Dear Rhonda,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your
wondEARful question about planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
How exciting to be bringing your family for the first time! The most important thing to remember is that no matter what you do, you will have a magical family experience together if you allow it to happen! I recommend a high level of advance
planning, so that when you are actually at the Walt Disney World Resort, you can relax and enjoy letting your plan play out.
With the ages of your children, I recommend a balance of thrill rides and classics. Be sure to take them on
Peter Pan's Flight, but don't miss
Space Mountain either! I recommend making a few
Advanced Dining Reservations also, especially if your family likes to take a break midday. A nice cool indoor lunch can work wonders for tired feet.
Since you haven't been in a few years, be sure to familiarize yourself with My Disney Experience, FastPass+, and MagicBands. There is a lot of helpful information online. You will want to get a basic understanding of all of those well in advance of your visit so that you can maximize your fun!
Hope that helps with your magical planning!
