Hi, so excited about our trip! Can we take a Minnie van from AoA to Sebastian’s bistro at Caribbean? Will the van drop us off right at the restaurant, or what should we expect? How much tome do you think we should allow for the trip? Thanks so much!

Hey, Kristin. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I think you are going to love staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. It's so fun. When you are there, be sure to keep your camera handy, there are so many fun photo spots. I think you'll be happy to know that you can use the Minnie Van Service to get to Sebastian's Bistro at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Your driver will drop you off at Old Port Royal, which is the building the restaurant is located in. You can request a Minnie Van using the Lyft mobile app. If you don't see the Minnie Van option right away, you may have to swipe through the vehicle types until you see the Minnie Vans. Disney's Art of Animation and Disney's Caribbean Beach are very close, just about a mile apart. By car, it should only take about 5 minutes to get there but I'd give yourself plenty of time, in case of traffic. If it were me, I'd call the Minnie Van about 45 minutes prior to your reservation. If you arrive early, you can look around Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, it's beautiful.

I think you are really going to enjoy your meal at Sebastian's Bistro. The menu is bright and light with lots of Caribbean flavors. You must try the Caribbean pull-apart rolls served with guava butter, mango chutney and Jamaican jerk oil. So delicious! If you're in the mood, I also highly suggest trying one of their Caribbean inspired cocktails. My personal favorite is the guava-rita.

I hope this helps. Enjoy your meal!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
