We are excited to be sailing this October to the Eastern Caribbean. What excursions at the ports would you recommend for our family with children ages 4,7, and 9? Thanks

    Ahoy Kimberly!
October is a wonderful time to set sail on a Caribbean adventure with Disney Cruise Line!  I recently returned from an Eastern Caribbean cruise in April, and my family is still talking about all the fun we had with our favorite Captain on the high seas, Capt. Mickey Mouse!
The Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure Team does a phenomenal job of planning fabulous adventures ashore for Guests so you really can't go wrong with any of the selections.  In St. Maarten, I suggest looking into Family Fun, Beach and Nature Walk, the Seaworld Explorer Coral Reef Exploration, or the St. Maarten Island and Butterfly Farm Tour.  For St. Thomas, check out the Coral World and Butterfly Garden, Magens Bay Beach Break, Tortola Dolphin Encounter, or the Legendary Kon Tiki Sightseeing and Beach Cruise.
On Castaway Cay, I recommend enjoying the island and all it has to offer with your crew!  My kids have cruised at the ages of yours and love to visit the kids club on the island, Scuttle's Cove. We always head to Pelican Plunge, the two twisting waterslides and to Spring-A-Leak, the water sprayground when we are not playing on the beach!  If you do decide to plan something, the bike rentals are a lot of fun as well as Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure.
I hope my suggestions are helpful, Kimberly!  If you think of any additional questions, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
