I was excited to read the annoucement of the new Fantasyland expansion dates only to be disappointed with the general statement, "opening in time for the holidays". Does that mean Nov or Dec? Visiting 11/3-9. Hoping Ariel, Be Our Guest, etc. will

    Hi, Jennifer!

The recent announcement of the Fantasyland openings does leave some room for curiosity. But in "Disney-speak," one might translate "holidays" as anywhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

It's possible that these attractions will be in soft opening during the time of your visit, but there are no guarantees. Unfortunately, we here in Florida are at the mercy of the weather, which, in the summer, can be something of a challenge.

Consider scheduling your vacation as late in the year as possible -- if possible, and you can rearrange your schedule. And do subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog. As timelines and release dates become clear, that'll be your first and best source for information straight from the Mouse's mouth.

    Have a great trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
