Hi all, We are very excited after just having booked hotel/tickets for travel on 22-26Sep'14. Traveling w/ a 4yo who is anaphylactic to tree nuts. Any tips on food and how to maximise our 4 days in WDW? Flying all the way from Melbourne, AU. Thanks heaps!

G'day Marilyn and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question.
I'm so delighted to know that you and your little pirate will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort all the way from down under in Australia; how excited you must be!
I'm happy to tell you not to worry because most restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort do indeed cater for Guests with food intolerance such as the tree nut allergy you mention.
Special Dietary Requests can be met by simply planning ahead:
    - when making Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance on 407 939 3463 be sure to tell the Cast Member assisting you of any food intolerance,
    - indicate all allergies when making online Dining Reservations,
    - after arriving at a Disney restaurant be sure to inform your server, chef or the manager on duty of any dietary concerns and needs.
Also perhaps this email address might be of some use to you - Special.Diets@disneyworld.com
If I can be of any further help to you in planning your upcoming holiday this September to Walt Disney World Resort please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
    - Jane
