We are very excited first time parents traveling to Disney for our anniversary. We are bringing our 6 month old daughter with us ad wonder what we do with her pumpkin seat on the buses? I believe she will be still in it and her stroller connects.

    Hi Miya!

How exciting that you're brining your very own Mouseketeer on her very first trip to meet Mickey and his pals! Pro Mom tip: definitely purchase Disney's Memory Maker package. My son just turned three, and I brought our big camera with us on our first few visits thinking that I'd capture the same photos as Disney's PhotoPass photographers. I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to be present in the moments of watching him dance with Donald or love on Minnie and not have to worry about taking pictures too.

Bringing a travel system is great, especially when it comes to using the bucket as a seat instead of a high chair when Dining around the 'World. Walt Disney World Resort's complimentary resort transportation, which includes buses and boats and monorails (oh my!), do welcome babies in bucket-style car seats. Neither these seats, nor children in general, are not required to be strapped down to Disney's buses or other transportation vehicles, including parking lot trams, so you do have a few options. You could always take her out of the bucket and have one parent can hold her in their arms (or wear her in a wearable carrier) while the other holds the collapsed stroller and empty car seat. Or you could venture to the back of the bus where the seats are in a row instead of facing each other. Here you can kind of wedge the bucket between the seat backs, which would provide a bit more steadiness. Disney's Minnie Van Service, which is an app-based ride hailing system, does include two car seats per vehicle, but you'd also be welcome to use your own bucket seat as well.

We'll See You Real Soon, Miya!
