We are excited to book an Alaskan cruise during the summer of 2020. Any thoughts on booking a port side or starboard side room on the Wonder for the best views? Thanks.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julee!

I too am really excited that you are going to book a vacation to Alaska with Captain Mickey next summer!  These are some of the most popular Disney Cruise Line vacations and for good reason.  The beautiful scenery and wild excursions of the Alaskan frontier make for an exciting adventure for everyone.  As much as I love to get out of the cold weather of the north every chance I can get, Alaska was well worth stepping away from the beach for a summer.

Your entire journey onboard the Disney Wonder will give you views of the mountains, scenic towns and the sea.  Either port or starboard give you plenty of beauty and magic to see.  If you prefer to see more of the port cities, you may want to chose the starboard side as generally the ship is docked on that side.  When spending the days cruising the glacier bays, the ship will navigate so that guests with verandahs on both sides of the ship can view the glacier.

Have you looked at the Adventures by Disney Experiences you can add on to your cruise next summer?  These incredible, immersive adventures are an add on to your existing Disney Cruise.  Adventures by Disney gives you authentic experiences during your port days.  The best part is Disney takes care of all the details!  Your small, VIP group will experience pre-planned Port Adventures in each port with private tour guides that accompany you throughout your trip to connect you to Alaska.  Everything is taken care of for you - all you need to do is enjoy!

Have fun planning your epic adventure in Alaska!  Please sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions along the way.  We would love to help make magic for you!  Bon voyage!  Angie
