With exchange certificates, it appears that I need to go to Downtown Disney in advance to redeem them. Am I still able to do my fast passes in advance, prior to my arrival?

    Hi DeAnn,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

If I understand your question correctly, you’ve got some (I believe they’re still green) Exchange Certificates for Annual Passes and you’re wondering how to make your FastPass+ selections prior to your visit. I was in the same position last year when I purchased new Annual Passes for my family, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to link our Exchange Certificates to my family’s My Disney Experience account. Once the tickets were linked, I was then able to make our FastPass+ selections with no problems, once my selection window opened (60 days prior to a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay, 30 days for all other Guests).

As a final note, you don’t need to go to Downtown Disney to redeem your Exchange Certificates. They can be redeemed at any Guest Relations window located before the entry points at the front of any Theme Park that you’d like to visit. If I remember correctly, we redeemed ours right before visiting Epcot!

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
