Hi there! I am exactly 1 week away from my fam of 4's 1st WDW VAC (6 nights)! During my planning, I noticed alot of ppl tend to book their Fast Pass's ahead of time! Is this more beneficial? Or will it be ok to wait till we get there and book the day of?

    Hi Ralinda:

First of all, congratulations on booking your first Walt Disney World Resort Vacation, I am positive you will have a magical time!  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, I would strongly recommend making your FastPass+ Selections prior to your arrival using your My Disney Experience Account.  By pre-selecting your FastPasses, you and your family will be able to jump right in and enjoy your vacation, instead of waiting in line every morning to make your FastPass+ selections.  I would much rather spend some time pre-planning prior to my vacation to set up FastPasses instead of wasting precious family time on vacation.  Also, by pre-selecting your FastPass+ options, you will have a better chance at securing the perfect return times for each attraction. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you will need to select your FastPasses every day as you enter the theme park.

When you are at Walt Disney World, you will still be able to change your FastPass+ selections and return times if need be.  I found it easy to switch my family's FastPass+ selections using my phone as well as a kiosk at one of the theme parks.

I hope you have a fantastic first visit to Walt Disney World Resort next week Ralinda.  Please let me know if you have any last minute questions.  I would be happy to help.
