    Hi Melissa,

We're so glad you stopped by to ask us your very special question. I think it is awesome that you are taking the time out with each child individually to spend that one on one time with them. I have a few suggestions that I hope will suit your kids.

One thing that I did with my almost 10 year old this past summer was water tubing at Sammy Duvall Watersports at the marina of Disney's Contemporary Resort. He had a blast and it was a great experience to take in some fun time with him away from the parks! They also offer parasailing and other fun recreational activities.

There are also several fun tours offered at the parks such as the Keys to the Kingdom tour in Magic Kingdom, Dolphins in Depth in Epcot or the Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Keep in mind that some of these tours have a minimum age of 16 and do require park admission as it is not included in the price of the tour.

For your daughter, I would recommend having a mother/daughter spa day at Senses - A Disney Spa at Grand Floridian Resort. It is newly renovated and some of the services there are on my bucket list.

One last suggestion would be surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon. This exhilarating experience would surely be a unique one full of amazing memories.

I hope this helps in your quest to carve out special time with your kids. Have a magical trip full of treasured memories.
