Hi everyone! Next summer my daughter will be 10 months old and I'll be traveling with a party of 5!I'll like to know what Magic Kingdom attractions could I ride with the baby on my lap? And how the baby swap works? Thanks in advanced!!

    Hi Rachel,

Congratulations on your upcoming trip! I well remember when my family became a party of 5. You quickly learn new strategies when traveling as a larger party with little ones in tow! When planning your next summer's vacation, I highly recommend perusing the previously asked questions here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel site. The categories that could be especially helpful to you are listed under Planning & Budgeting and are entitled "Parties of 5-9" and "Toddlers & Infants".

Your infant can go on any ride or attraction in which there isn't a height requirement. At Magic Kingdom there is an abundance! To see all of the available attractions, follow this link:  Magic Kingdom Attractions With No Height Requirements. Make sure that Magic Kingdom is selected at the top of the page and that your height filter is set for any height.

The Rider Switch Service at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite services! Follow the previous link to read all about the details. Rider Switch allows an adult in your party to stay behind with the non-rider, in your case your 10 month old, while the rest of the party goes on the attraction. Then once the first party is finished, the Guest who waited may board the attraction without having to use the normal queue. Not only do they not have to wait, but they get to take another Guest along with them! This means that somebody in your party will get to experience the attraction twice!

Thank you for your question Rachel and if you have any further vacation planning questions, please just let us know. We are always happy to help!
