Hi everyone - I am new. I am so excited. I am 57 and never been to Disney and so I take my Grand daughter and Daughter in October.I need advice from all of you. Thanks, Debra

    Hi Debra,

Thank you so much for coming to the Mom's Panel, it's fantastic that you're so excited about visiting Walt Disney World with your Daughter and Granddaughter.

Disney really is a wonderful place to visit but it can seem a bit overwhelming at first as it's so huge and there is so much to see and do. What I suggest you do to start with is to read as many answers as possible to questions here on the Mom's Panel to get lots of hints and tips. Also read the main Disney site at www.disneyworld.com it has a section for each park and will tell you a little about each attraction there and what is on offer. Be sure to look at the dining pages and phone 407-939-3463 up to 90 days in advance for reservations. I'm not sure of the age of your Granddaughter but character meals are fantastic and I'm sure she'd love to do at least one.

To get the most out of touring the parks make sure you know how the fast pass system works, this is a special ticket that allows you to ride certain attractions with little or no wait, there is a great video explaining all about it in our video section HERE.

I hope that helps a little, if you have a more definite question please ask again, we're here to help!
