    Cecily from NV Asked

Does everyone go down at one time to get wristbands each day at Aulani or can I go down while dad is getting everyone ready for the day?

Aloha Cecily, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Hawaii is one of my favorite vacation destinations. It is truly paradise. When I step off the plane in the islands, the first thing that I notice is the air smells sweet thanks to the lush flora. I can almost envision it right now. Did you know that Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa was recently named as the #1 Best Hotel or Resort for Families, 2018 from HAWAI’I Magazine? How awesome is that? And YOU get to vacation there!

The pool at the resort is awash with whimsical features, and lives up to its name “Waikolohe,” Hawaiian for “mischevious water.” You can plunge down the Volcanic Vertical, or join a hip surf party at the Shake-A-Shaka Pool Party! IF the kiddos decide they want to party on the land, send them off to Aunty’s Beach House where they can explore Hawaiian culture (with a dash of Disney magic!) while you and dad relax in a poolside Cabana. To access the pool, all members of your ‘ohana will need to stop by any towel station in the Waikolohe Valley. There they will present their room key and receive the daily wristband. Each day the wristband changes to a different bright color, so by the end of your visit, you will have a virtual rainbow on your arm! The bracelets are available throughout the day, so if dad wants to have a leisurely morning, all he needs is his room key, and he can join the rest of the team at his pace. Don't forget to check the Daily 'Iwa for the resort's latest schedule.

As Travel + Leisure magazine stated, at Aulani, “the magical details are plentiful.” May you and your family find your legend there.
