Hey Michelle-
I am so glad you reached out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. There is so much information about Walt Disney World Resort that it can be confusing. Let me break out a few items to help you.
Day
Tickets allow you one entrance into a Walt Disney World Theme Park each day. You may leave and enter as many times as you like. A Park Hopper is an option to add on to your Day Ticket allowing you to visit more than one park per day with no limit on the number of entries per day.
FastPass+ reservations are a way of making an appointment to visit a specific attraction. By creating an account on the
My Disney Experience website, you can book three FastPass+ reservations per day. This will create a more relaxed vacation visit. More FastPass+ reservation maybe acquired after the first three are used.
I visited Walt Disney World Resort last year in the middle of September. The weather was perfect, the lines were short and the trip was unforgettable. You did not indicate the number of days you would be visiting so I would recommend at least one day per theme park. This will allow you to enjoy the magic, meet your favorite Disney characters and search for other fun treasures creating lifetime memories. My favorite experience in September and October is
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Let your Disney Side shine by dressing up in a costume and trick-or-treat throughout the Magic Kingdom Park. This spooktacular party is not just for kids and is a must do. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to make your planning easier.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
