Hi everyone! This is an awesome panel! I see a lot about DVC (Disney Vacation Club). What exactly is the DVC? What is it like to be a member? What are the perks? Is it worth it to be a member? How often can you vacation? I'm a bit confused by it. Thank you

    Hi Miranda,

Disney Vacation Club is a unique way to own a piece of Disney. You purchase a real estate interest in Disney Vacation Club properties which are located at the Disney World Resort, Vero Beach, Hilton Head, Disneyland and Hawaii.

Unlike a traditional timeshare, you purchase points not weeks. (Hawaii does have a week option.) Each day of the year  and room is assigned a point value. Depending on the number of points you have and when you vacation will determine how many days you can vacation.

As a member since 1999, my family has been able to visit multiple times to the Walt Disney World Resorts a year. In addition, we have been able to bring our extended families with us and take a cruise with our points. We have been able to stay at Deluxe accomodations which we would not be able to do on a regular basis. You can even use your points for a trip with Adventures by Disney as well as do an exchange with RCI.

We also receive discounts on select restaurants, shopping and activites.

I would call 1-877-382-7826 or visit www.disneyvacationclub.com/moms for more information on DVC!
