Hello everyone!! Can anyone tell me if AS Movies have coffee makers in the rooms? Also on the day we arrive @ 6pm, we have ADR for Chef Mickey's @ 9pm. Is that enough time to check into the resort and head over to the Cont. Resort?

The value resorts, including the All Star Movies, do not have coffee makers in the room. The exception is the All Star Music family suites which do offer coffee pots to help get families moving in the morning!

Here's my experience on arrival day:
if all goes as planned you could make your reservation. When we arrived WDW last week, we were off the plane and at our resort within 1 hour and 15 minutes. The plane landed at 4:30 p.m. and we were at the Magical Express desk around 4:50 p.m. ( we had to stop at the rest rooms, etc) and on the bus at 5:00 p.m. We left at 5:10 and after stopping at one other hotel, we arrived our resort at 5:45 p.m.

However, our travel plans did not work out as expected. Eating at Chef Mickey's is tradition on our first night at WDW. We arrived the airport and got on our flight only to sit for 1.5 hours due to mechanical problems. The flight was then cancelled and we had to exit the plane and re-book another flight. We arrived almost 3 hours later than expected. We were suppose to have arrived Orlando at 1:50 p.m. with 5:05 p.m. Chef Mickey's Advance Dining Reservations.  We were never able to re-schedule at Chef Mickey's as they were full for the entire 10 days that we were in WDW.

So, can you make it if all goes as planned? Yes! However you will feel rushed and it will not allow much time at your resort before having to head over to the Contemporary Resort. If you run in to any travel delays, you may end up disappointed as we did.

I hope all goes well for your family!! Safe and on-time travels to you!!
