Does every member of your party get a Key to the World. ( I assume this gives you the key to your room and the parks) How do you know which key belongs to each person in your group. Should I put their name on the back?

    Hi Krista,

That is a very good question!  Yes, everyone will get a "key to the World" card, unless of course you have babies and young toddlers who won't require one.  Children under the age of 3 years old do get complimentary admission to the parks and will not need a "Key to the World" card to have access to the parks.  If you are purchasing a "Magic Your Way" package which will include your resort stay and park admission (and meal plan if applicable), then your "Key to the World" card will act as admission to the parks (for the amount of days purchased) as well as identification at the security gate for admission (if you are driving) into your WDW resort as well as verification that you are a WDW resort guest at the parking lots for the parks (in order to get complimentary parking during your stay, again if you will be driving your own car) and  it serves as your resort room key.  When my daughter was 2 1/2 years old and we went on vacation to Walt Disney World, I did request a "Key to the World" card for her as a souvenir and also to make her feel a bit "special" and "included" in the whole process...this was allowed and she was really happy that she got one too!

You will not have to write names on the cards as they are in a hard plastic and already have the names of all the guests staying in the room printed on them as well as your check-in and check-out dates.  It will also state whether this is an adult's or child's card.  One more thing is charging privileges, if you choose to leave a credit card on file then you can use your "Key to the World" card as a credit card to charge your purchases to your resort room account.  If there is anyone in your room that you do not want to have "charging privileges", just tell your reservations agent at check-in and they will print "Not Valid For Charging" on their "Key to the World" card.  I hope this helps!

    Have a magical day!
