Erin, on your solo trips where are your favourite places to eat? I'm not concerned about dining alone at restaurants as I do it at home all the time. Are ADRs always necesary for solo dining? Which restaurants have bars? Sorry for so many?s

I cherish my annual solo vacation to Walt Disney World; it's the thing that keeps me sane, well almost sane, during the rest of the year :-)

If there is any restaurant that you MUST dine at, having a reservation is important, even as a singleton. For example, at Cinderella's Royal Table, even a solo diner will have trouble getting in. That being said, I personally have had good luck as a solo walk-up diner at WDW. I have had success walking up alone to the Crystal Palace, Yak & Yeti, Rose & Crown, Boma, and many others in the parks and resorts and being seated quickly. Additionally, solo diners can easily eat at any counter service restaurant. You may have read my previous post HERE about dining at the lounges at WDW alone.

These are table service restaurants that have attached or nearby bars or lounges where you can get some food:

    - Tokyo Dining, Epcot
    - Rose and Crown, Epcot
    - Sommerfest, @ Biergarten, Epcot
    - 50's Prime Time Cafe, DHS
    - Yak & Yeti, AK
    - Belle Vue Room, Boardwalk Inn
    - ESPN Club, Boardwalk
    - California Grill Lounge, Contemporary
    - Outer Rim, Contemporary
    - The Wave Lounge, Contemporary
    - Rix Lounge, Coronado Springs
    - Gurgling Suitcase, Old Key West
    - Stone Crab, @ Fulton's Crab House, Downtown Disney
    - Bongos Cuban Cafe, Downtown Disney
    - Raglan Road, Downtown Disney
    - Cap'n Jack's, Downtown Disney
    - Crockett's Tavern, Fort Wilderness
    - Mizner's, Grand Floridian
    - Narcoossee's, Grand Floridian
    - Tambu, Polynesian
    - River Roost, POR
    - Turf Club, Saratoga Springs
    - Territory Lounge, Wilderness Lodge
    - Crew's Cup, Yacht Club

Additionally, there are bars with limited menus next to the pools at all the WDW resorts.
