Erin, you answered a ? about transportation between parks. Is a boat the only means from Studios to Epcot? We'll leave HS after lunch and want to come in Epcot's front entrance - not Int'l Gate - since Future World closes earlier. Would save time/walking!

There are several ways to get from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Epcot. Here are your options:

Boat: Head to the left as you exit the park. The Friendship boat circles the waters in the Epcot resorts area, stopping at the Swan/Dolphin hotels, Yacht & Beach Clubs, the Boardwalk, and Epcot. The boats drop guests at the back International Gateway entrance to Epcot.

Walking: Head toward the right as you exit the park. There is a well-marked scenic path along the water. The distance is about a mile -- very pleasant on a cool day when you have a lot of energy. But on a hot day when tired from touring, this would not be my favorite method of getting from one park to the other. Again, you'll need to enter the Epcot from the International Gateway.

Bus: Head further right as you exit the park to the bus depot. The bus will take you to the front entrance of Epcot. This ride is not as relaxing as the boat, but if you're heading to Future World rather than the World Showcase it can save you time and shoe leather.
